FLOCCULATION
Flocculation is a process of removal of fine, colloidal particles from a slurry suspension. Flocculation reagents provide bridges between individual particles, thus forming aggregates called flocs. The flocs grow in size until their density is great enough to settle out of the slurry by the force of gravity.
